La Stampa interview marks Jean Pierre Mustier’s start of the EBF Presidency

BRUSSELS, 1 July 2019 — Jean Pierre Mustier, Group Chief Executive Officer of UniCredit SpA, from today serves as President of the European Banking Federation. His appointment is for a two-year term.
In an interview published today in Italian daily La Stampa, Mr Mustier shared his observations on key challenges for the European banking sector, including global competition, challenges posed by new technologies and fragmentation in EU financial services, among others.
